Picture Book Scene Mood Board Creation
Illustrations MAKE the book…appealing!
You will join in creative collaboration with our owner, Erica, to produce a PDF document of up to fifteen (15) illustration moods for your book. Within two weeks time, Compass Creatives (C2) will converse with you via Zoom video meetings over six (6) one-hour calls.
This mood board includes:
color swatches
text and font specifications
illustration descriptors
full page/half page designation
reference pictures/art
Mood boards are great for:
works that may develop into a series
clear and comprehensive collaboration with your illustrator
establishing a cohesive streamline throughout your story
eliminating the constant back and forth reiteration with illustration
Each half page scene is considered one illustration mood.
Each full page scene is considered one illustration mood.
15 illustrations is equivalent to 22.5 hours of work. Hourly rate thereafter is $8/hour - work log provided.
$8 per additional scene requested beyond fifteen (15).
At the author’s purchase of this Mood Board Creation Service, an invitation to schedule the first of six (6) one-hour video calls.
Manuscript sharing is required.
***For the benefit and protection of the purchasing author, a Confidentiality Agreement will be signed and saved by both parties prior to C2’s acceptance and review of any artwork, manuscripts, or other proprietary information. This is to maintain that Compass Creatives (C2) is granted use of all submitted information for the exclusive and sole propose of service completion only.
